Founded and operated a manufacturer of a 10,000 item line of pewter, lead free, zinc and tin casting business serving jewelry & giftware manufactures, religious gift and jewelry manufacturers, high end designers and novelty manufacturers. Provided mold design and production of specialty casting molds to Swarovski USA, Faberge and Tiffany. Coordinated product development with major jewelry designers and private label manufactures including Joan Rivers, Kenneth J Lane, Marla Buck, Madonna and others. Supplied private label jewelry to QVC and Home Shopping Network. Designed and produced in house near net shape model molds for master mold production. Class A Machinist Toolmaker: Salvadore Tool & Findings, Inc. Providence, RI 1980-1990
Class A Machinist Toolmaker for high volume decorative metal stamping facility employing over 400. Designed and supervised building of single and multi-operation tooling, progressive stamping and striking tooling with tolerances to .001”. Direct participation in rebuilding of stamping presses, machine shop equipment and fabrication equipment. Completed machinist apprenticeship and toolmaker apprenticeship programs. Received journeymen toolmakers certificate and Class A machinist certificate.
